Welcome to the Yahoo Groups c3pbeml-list 2005 Round Robin Tournament.
Currently we have 3 divisions of 6 players (based on player experience) fighting it out to be the winners of our first tournament for 2005.
The Rules of the Tournament are simple:
Civilization Conquests, patched to version 1.22. PTW is allowed if both players agree.
The will be two round robins of approximately 6 people each (depending on number of entrants). One round robin will be for veterans (i.e. those who hold out a vague hope that they can beat Bob), and the other for newbie's. Each player will play every other player once and score 1 point for a win, and half a point for a draw. You have all of 2005 to play the necessary games.
Entries need to be in by 1/1/2005. Entries are now finalized, but if 6 more players wish to join, we can create another division.
The games will be on a small world, with 4 players, being Player 1, Random, Player 2, Random. Civilizations will all be Random. The world settings will be: Small, Continents, Temperate, Ancient with Random Seed on and Accelerated Production on. See this screen for a full screen shot.
The veterans round will be at Monarch level, and the newbie's round at Regent. Players can create worlds until they get a world they both like. A mulligan can be declared provided the player has not built two cities.
